How to quit

ALCOHOL?

Do you want to stop suffering because of alcohol?

Since 1984, Clinical Psychologist Bernardo Ruiz Victoria , together with his team of collaborators, has been applying the Victoria Program , his alcohol rehabilitation treatment with very positive results that have earned recognition from national and international organizations and entities.

Who is this program for?

The Victoria Program for alcoholism is designed for people who recognize their problem and want to resolve it effectively, quickly, and discreetly. We serve a wide range of individuals, including:

  • Executives and high-level professionals
    • Individuals whose career and reputation depend on maintaining consistent performance. The 10-day format allows them to address addiction without taking extended leave or exposing the situation to colleagues or superiors.

  • Artists, creatives, and people with a public profile
    • Professionals in the arts, music, acting, or media who need a safe, anonymous, and stigma-free environment. The hotel retreat offers the privacy these individuals require.

  • Young professionals
    • Alcoholism isn't just a problem of old age. We're seeing more and more people between the ages of 25 and 40 who have developed a functional dependence on alcohol while maintaining seemingly successful careers. The program allows them to take action before the consequences become irreversible.

  • People referred by their families
    • In many cases, it is the family who takes the first step. The Victoria Program facilitates the patient's voluntary and respectful transition into retirement and guides the family on how to support the recovery process.

The role of the family in recovery

Results of the Victoria Program

The Victoria Program has been treating alcohol addiction for over 40 years. In follow-up studies conducted between 5 and 8 years after treatment, 67% of patients maintain abstinence or have reduced their consumption to non-problematic levels.

This success rate compares favorably with the industry average, which, according to scientific literature, ranges between 40% and 60% at one year. The difference can be explained by three factors:

  1. The focus is on understanding the problem, not on willpower.

  2. Active monitoring for a full year.

  3. The selection of motivated patients who voluntarily choose the program.
